Paternal Grandparents:
JONES, ODOM, SHADIX, MANER
All four branches of the paternal side of our family tree are DEEPLY rooted in the South; since the early 1600s. They are often connected to other families with similar origins. Some were among the founding families from Western Europe, Ireland, and England, to Jamestown, Virginia. Some became prominent landowners in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.
Note: We are still searching for the parents of our 3xggf, Merrit Jones, from Randolph County, Georgia to Coffee County, Alabama - and the parents of our great grandmother Elizabeth "Lizzie Edwards, from Paulding County, Georgia to Birmingham, Alabama.

Maternal Grandparents:
MURRAY, GOODRICH, MICKELSON, WALLER
The maternal side of our family tree is more diverse; immigrating to America in both the North and South. They include multiple founding Mayflower families from Holland/Great Britain to Plymouth, Massachusetts, and also from Ireland/Scotland to Pennsylvania. One Southern founding family line is from early Virginia and another came from France to St. Augustine, Florida and married a descendant of indentured servant families that were brought over from Minorca, Baleares Islands, Spain, to New Smyrna, Florida.
Note: We are still searching for our Mickelson family lines from Finland to Pennsylvania, and also for the parents of our 3x great grandparents August Glugowski and Henrietta Heinrich from Germany/Russia to New York City.
